Ya'alon: Islamic State not a current threat to Israeli interests
Islamic State does not currently pose a threat to Israeli interests, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said Tuesday.
"The organization operates far from Israel, in eastern Syria, and does not pose a threat to our interests right now," he told reporters.
He also did not deny Israeli intelligence cooperation with the international community in the fight against IS. "If we have information that they need, then it is passed on like any other information in the intelligence community."
