High Court orders to stop oil drills in Golan Heights
The High Court of Justice issued Tuesday a temporary injunction against the oil drillis in the Golan Heights conducted by Afek Oil and Gas. According to the injunction, "the company is prohibited to build any facilities or conduct any ground altering works within the perimeter of the territory defined in the license".
The injunction was issued following the petition of Adam Teva V'Din, Israel union for environmental defense, and Golan Heights residents against the drills.
