Syria: Opposition, religious officials call for ceasefire during Eid al-Adha
Syrian Opposition officials and religious clerics called all the fighting groups in Syria – the Syrian regime, Islamic State group, Hezbollah and the International Coalition to cease fire during Eid al-Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice) that will take place the coming weekend.
Among the prominent officials is Moaz al-Khatib the former president of the prominent National Coalition for Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces that represents the regime's opposition groups.
