Opposition leader: Rise in housing prices is Lapid and Netanyahu's failure
Opposition Chairman MK Isaac Herzog addressed the Housing Ministry's report and accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yair Lapid for the rise in the housing prices.
"The rise in the prices is an echoing failure of Netanyahu and Lapid. There are various ways to reduce the housing prices, but the current government repeatedly proves it just doesn't want to," Herzog said.
"After all the promises, press conferences and declarations, Netanyahu and Lapid ought to explain to thousands of young couples and the entire middle class how did they end up in a situation where buying an apartment in Israel is as imaginary as traveling to the moon," Herzog added.
