Lancet Medical Journal editor says regrets publishing anti-Israel letter
The editor of the British medical journal The Lancet, Dr. Richard Horton, said during a visit in Israel that he regrets publishing an open letter during Operation Protective Edge which accused Israel of committing war crimes. The letter was signed by 24 doctors and scientists.
At the end of a visit at Haifa's Rambam Medical Center, Horton said that he "deeply regrets the completely unnecessary polarization that the publication of the letter caused."
