Herzog: Don't want to find out that next war could have been avoided
Opposition Chairman Isaac Herzog said at Yom Kippur War memorial service that "in the years prior to the war, the leadership was impervious to Egypt's peace signals. We don't want to find out 40 years from now that the next war could have been avoided".
"If there's even the slightest chance to start a diplomatic process that will assure our security, the government should do whatever it takes to exhaust it," Herzog added.
