UN chief heading to Washington, Tunisia and Cairo

The UN chief is heading to Washington for meetings at the World Bank and then to Tunisia to support its political transition and Cairo to attend a donors conference to rebuild Gaza.

 

UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said Tuesday that Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will attend meetings at the World Bank on Wednesday on combatting Ebola, improving sanitation in Haiti and supporting stepped up financing to promote economic development in poorer countries.
