Lieberman to Sweden: Friends don't undermine their friends' security
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman called the Swedish prime minister to withdraw his intention to recognize a Palestinian state.
"The statement made by Prime Minister Stefan Lofven wasn't meant to give a real solution to the problem, but rather provide an answer to internal political needs and appease a certain sector in the Swedish public opinion," Lieberman wrote in an article published in the Swedish newspaper "Dagens Nyheter".
"Friends do not express their friendship by undermining the national security of their friends. It doesn't seem as if Sweden is also worried about the millions of Israelis who have been under terror attacks for years," Lieberman added.
