Iran: Police plane crashes, leaving seven people dead
Report in Iran say a plane belonging to the police has crashed, killing all those onboard Saturday.
According to Iran's Press TV "an aircraft belonging to Iranian police forces has reportedly crashed in the southeastern city of Zahedan, leaving all seven people onboard dead."
Among the dead were three senior officers, a police official and three crew members.
The report said the plane, which took off from Teheran, was a Gulfstream Turbo Commander and fell in the mountainous area in Zahedan, the capital of Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan on Saturday, Iran's IRNA news agency reported.
