UN envoy meets with Nasrallah's deputy on Syria
The UN Secretary-General's special envoy to Syria, Staffan de Mistura, held an unusual meeting on Thursday in Lebanon - with Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah's deputy, Naim Qassemm - in an attempt to recruit Hezbollah's help to solving the Syria crisis.
Qassem stressed to de Mistura Hezbollah's position on Syria: "The only solution in Syria is the political solution, without preconditions... everyone should expect painful concessions, but there's no solution other than the political solution."
