Kerry: Turkey told arms drop to Kurds was not change in US policy

The United States informed Turkey that a weapons delivery to Syrian Kurds was not a change in US policy, Secretary of State John Kerry said Monday, but was a "momentary" response to a crisis.

It would be "irresponsible" and "morally very difficult" to turn one's back on a community fighting the Islamic State, Kerry said.
