Harpaz affair: Barak recordings found

DVD recordings of likely phone calls from the office of former Defense Minister Ehud Barak were found in the safe of a former security officer, confirmed by the Ministry of Defense following an initial report by Israel's Channel 2 News station.

The ministry's chief legal advisor will examine the contents of the recordings. During the Harpaz probe, investigators requested recordings of Barak's conversation which were subsquently not found. It was claimed the recordings were accidentaly destroyed.
