US police: Student shooter dead after attack
A lone student shooter was dead Friday after an attack at a high school north of Seattle, police said. Marysville Police Commander Robb Lamoureux said he did not have any additional information on where the shooting took place or if anyone else was killed or wounded.
Students and staff members were seen walking out of Marysville Pilchuck High School after police and ambulance crews surrounded the large campus of more than 2,000 students. Police were going room by room, searching the school about 30 miles (48 kilometers) north of Seattle, to make sure it was safe.
