Peretz on US relations: Netanyahu should apologize
Enivornment Minister Amir Peretz emphasized the importance of US-Israel ties on Sunday. "The events surrounding the visit of Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon need to spark a red light. The US is our strategic partner. If someone was offended, the responsibility to apologize lies with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu."
Peretz also discussed the recent tension in Jerusalem saying, "I suggest the Housing Minister Uri Ariel move to Kiryat Shmona instead of Silwan. The strengthening of the periphery is the appropriate Zionistic response to the sovereignty over the land of Israel."
