Netanyahu: Neither side should take law into own hands in Jerusalem
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Thursday for restraint from both sides following the attempted murder of a well-known rightwing activist in Jerusalem the night before. The Palestinian suspect in the shooting was killed by police on Thursday morning in East Jerusalem.
"The fight could be long and protracted," Netanyahu said during a special session with key members of the security establishment. "We must reduce the flames - neither side should take the law into their own hands."
