Suicide bomber kills 2 in northeast Nigerian city
Witnesses say a suicide bomber detonated explosives on the edge of a procession by the moderate Muslim Brotherhood in the northeastern state capital of Potiskum, killing himself and two civilians.
Mohammed Adamu, a tailor who was parading through the streets, said Monday that Muslim Brotherhood members arrested two suspects and refused to hand them over to the military. He said the soldiers then fired several shots into the air and one bullet killed a Muslim Brotherhood member.
