Construction of 500 housing units in East Jerusalem approved

The Interior Ministry's District Committee for Planning and Construction in Jerusalem approved on Monday the construction of 500 new housing units in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo, which is located beyond the Green Line.

The move is an addition to an existing plan to build 1,600 housing units in the neighborhood,
