Israel will reopen on Tuesday the Gaza border crossings closed Sunday for the first time since the end of the war in August, isolating the Strip from the rest of the world.
"The Erez and Kerem Shalom crossings will open normally on Tuesday morning," an IDF spokesman told AFP, without giving further details.
With the Erez crossing used for the passage of people and Kerem Shalom used for the passage of goods, the Gaza Strip was left cut off from the rest of the world. Egyptian authorities have also closed the Rafah crossing in the southern Gaza Strip.
