Thousands attend funeral of Border Patrol officer Jaddan Assad, killed in J'lem terror attack

Border Patrol officer Jaddan Assad from Beit Jann, who was killed in the vehicular attack in Jerusalem on Wednesday, was laid to rest noontime Thursday. Thousands came to accompany Assad on his final journey. Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch eulogized him: "An entire life was cut short because of terrorist acts that cruelly strike down victims. This murderous terror bred in the Palestinian Authority, with Hamas at its head, managed to reach Beit Jann."
