Hazardous leak in Hefer Valley; one injured in moderate condition
Hazardous material from the ammonia branch of chemicals leaked from an Hod Hefer factory in the Hefer Valley industrial park. Eight hazmat teams from Hadera and Netanya deployed to the scene.
The leak was likely started when workers accidentally cut a pipe leading to the hazardous supplies. One 58-year-old man was moderately injured from ammonia inhalation.
