Bennett on Kafr Kanna shooting: 'Police did what was expected of them'

Police acted as expected of them when shooting Khair Hamdan in Kafr Kanna, Economy Minister Naftali Bennett (Bayit Yehudi) said Saturday.

"A crazed Arab terrorist attacked our police's vehicle with a knife, in an attempt to murder them. The police's response was what was expected by our police personnel," he said.

"It can and should be investigated. Always. But this is not a 'cold-blooded murder' and our police certainly should not be abandoned. If we don't back them up, we'll see more and more Israelis murdered with of knives, fireworks and hit and runs," he added.
