Student protests break out over Kafr Kanna shooting
Hundreds of students in Sakhnin, an Arab town in Israel's northern district, left their schools on Monday to join protests against the controversial shooting of Khair Hamdan in Kafr Kanna that occurred Friday.
The protesters waved Palestinian flags and called for the punishment of the police officers involved in the shooting. Additional students protests are expected to occur in Kafr Kanna on Monday afternoon.
