Father of terrorist in Tel Aviv attack: 'I was surprised'

Khaled Abu Khashiyeh, father of the terrorist who committed the stabbing attack in Tel Aviv on Monday, said that his son left home at the Askar refugee camp in Hebron the day before in order to seek employment in Israel.

He claimed that this was not the first time that his son had gone to work inside Israeli territory. "I was surprised when I heard the news about my son committing a terror attack with a knife," he said, adding that his son left home as usual and left no impression over the past days that he intended to carry out an attack.
