Mother of soldier killed in Tel Aviv: 'I don't want to get into politics, I want my son alive'

"I do not want to get into politics, I just want my son alive," Michal Shiloni, the mother of the soldier killed Monday told Ynet.

Sergeant Almog Shiloni was killed in a stabbing attack at a Tel Aviv train station by a Palestinian terrorist.

"These are very difficult hours, it is impossible to think I have to talk about him in the past tense," his mother said. "I understood that his girlfriend was hospitalized and I began calling him and he did not answer. His friends began to call and then came the fatal knock on the door that is impossible to expect."

"Almog was a righteous boy who helped everyone, volunteered. His twin brother is in a very difficult emotional state, he cannot go on without him," said Michal.
