17-year-old Palestinian arrested with knife while attempting to hitchhike

Police arrested a 17-year-old Palestinian boy from Ramallah on Wednesday night. He was trying to hitchhike to Jerusalem when police became suspicious.

Officers searched the suspect and found a large knife and a screwdriver in his bag. Upon interrogation, the suspect admitted that he had meant to hitchhike to the capital, where he would stab a bus driver. He was transferred to Shin Bet custody.
