Netanyahu: Cooperation between IDF and Shin Bet a basic element of national security
"The IDF and Shin Bet are two very strong bodies with great people. The cooperation between them is a basic element of our national security," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said of the recent tensions between the two security bodies at a visit at the Israel Aerospace Industry on Thursday.
"This cooperation led to significant results in the battlefield during Operation Protective Edge. It saved many lives. Thus I, as prime minister, am responsible that this cooperation will continue because the security of the citizens of Israel always comes before any disagreement," said Netanyahu.
