Ya'alon: Rift between IDF, Shin Bet must not be repeated
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon stressed the importance of inter-agency cooperation Saturday evening, after a reconciliation meeting between IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz and Shin Bet chief Yoram Cohen.
"The rift created this week between the two agencies was bad for the State of Israel; it is good that it has been bridged. A similar incident must never be repeated. The proper place to iron out disagreements on such critical, sensitive issues to the State of Israel is in a closed room – and we must keep it that way," he said.
