UN Security Council imposes sanctions on Al-Qaeda branches in Libya
The UN Security Council imposed sanctions on two branches of the Ansar al-Sharia terrorist group in Libya on Thursday after learning of its connections to Al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations.
The Security Council added the branches in the Libyan cities of Benghazi and Derna to the "Black List" of terrorist organizations and will order world nations to freeze assets of the terror groups.
