Science Minister: Reprimand housing minister that supported Ashkelon mayor
Science Minister Yaakov Peri (Yesh Atid) wrote a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday requesting that the prime minister to reprimand Housing Minister Uri Ariel (Bayit Yehudi) for supporting the decision by the mayor of Ashkelon of prohibit Arab construction workers from working near kindergartens in the city.
"The housing minister supported the decision in an interview with Israel Army Radio. In addition to the blatant racism, his words severely injured the national interest at the highest order," Peri wrote to Netanyahu.
