Lapid: 'Nationality Law' written with Likud primaries in mind
Finance Minister Yair Lapid repeated his opposition to the current draft of the 'Nationality Law' ahead of Sunday's cabinet meeting, saying his faction did not oppose the essence of the proposal, but that it was formulated with the Likud primaries in mind. "This is a law that Ben-Gurion and Jabotinksy would have opposed."
The Yesh Atid chairman said he spoke this morning with the family of Zidan Saif, the Druze policeman killed in last week's terror attack. "What will we tell his family, that he is a second-class citizen in the State of Israel because someone has primaries in the Likud?"
