Gaza man indicted for trying to enter Israel using forged medical approval

The Southern District Attorney's Office filed an indictment with the Be'er Sheva Magistrates Court on Sunday, charging a resident of Gaza for trying to enter Israel using a forged medical entrance approval.

 

The indictment states that the suspect paid $1,500 for the issuance of the "approval," arrived at the Erez crossing in a wheelchair, and tried to enter Israel with a humanitarian permit.

 

The defendant was charged with counts of attempted fraud under aggravating circumstances and using a forged document under aggravating circumstances.
