The Jordanian Foreign Ministry summoned the Israeli Ambassador to Jordan, Daniel Nevo, following comments he made on Israeli media outlets against the Jordanian parliament, which read a segment from the Quran in memory of the two terrorists behind the Jerusalem synagogue massacre last week.
The chairman of the Jordanian parliament Atef al-Tarawa said that the government should respond accordingly against Nevo's statements which he said constitute a "blatant interference in the affairs of Jordan."
