Ben Gurion Terminal 3 to be closed Friday from 12-8 pm
Ben Gurion's Terminal 3 will be closed on Friday between 12-8 pm for a security exercise. Gunshots and explosions will be heard during the exercise which will include use of several police vehicles.
Departures and arrivals will be completely stopped and trains will not stop at the airport station during the exercise, with trains continuing straight to Tel Aviv or Modi'in. The Israel Airport Authority said the exercise was a pre-planned annual event that aims to maintain the competence of the security staff.
