The Jordanian government sent a formal letter to the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem warning Israel against making any changes to the status quo in the capital, Jordanian newspaper al-Arab al-Yawm reported Monday. A source quoted by the paper said the Jordanian government demanded that Israel abide by its obligations in "preventing the attacks by extremists on Al-Aqsa Mosque."
