Truck with hazardous material overturns in southern Israel
The entrances to the southern Israeli towns of Bnei Ayish and Bitzaron, located 10 km from Ashdod, were closed to traffic on Tuesday morning following the overturning of a truck with hazardous material. Fire crews worked to stop the outpour of the material and the truck driver was evacuated by Magen David Adom crews to a nearby hospital.
The road will remain blocked until the removal of the material from the site.
