Indictment filed against E. J'lem resident who incited violence on social media
The Jerusalem District Attorney filed an indictment with the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court against Mohammed Assila, a 31-year-old resident of East Jerusalem, for incitement to violence and terrorism during the past few months through his Facebook and YouTube accounts.
The prosecution requested that his remand by extended until the end of the proceedings. The indictment which was filed with the approval of the Attorney General noted that Assila posted videos that expressed solidarity with terrorists and perpetrators of recent terror attacks in Jerusalem and uploaded photos of various weapons.
