The Likud faction responded to sharp criticism hurled by Yair Lapid at Netanyahu and said, "the panic felt by the failed finance minister does not change the fact that the current elections deal with one issue: who will be the next prime minister that will lead the nation and the country."
The Likud claimed that the "public knows that there is only one man that can lead the country against its many challenges," referring to Netanyahu.
