Iraqi foreign minister: Nothing preventing Iran from conducting air strikes in Iraq
Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari told the Saudi newspaper Alriyadh that there is nothing preventing Iran from conducting air strikes in Iraqi territory "as long as they meet the conditions that Baghdad demanded from the Security Council."
The Iraqi foreign minister's statement marks the first reference by Iraq admitting to reports that Iran had recently started to bomb targets from the air in territory taken over by the Islamic State in Iraq.
