Israel Land Administration approves amended 'target price' program

The Israel Land Administration, headed by Housing Minister Uri Ariel (Bayit Yehudi), unanimously approved the amended version of the "target price" program which is supposed to reduce the price of new apartments by 20%.

 

According to the new wording of the plan, about 70% of the apartments that will be built within the plan's framework will be allocated to non-homeowners.

 

The news came after the attorney general approved the Israel Land Administration carry out the program last night without waiting for the establishment of a new government.

 

The Israel Land Administration said that the first bid will open in Rosh HaAyin in a couple of weeks for the building of 3,000 apartments.
