Report: Russia demands eplanation for alleged Israeli airstrike in Syria
A spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry said his government demands explanations from Israel regarding the alleged attack on Syrian territory yesterday according to reports by the German news agency DPA.
"Moscow is very concerned about this dangerous development and demands explanations for this," said the spokesman.
The spokesman added that the Russian Foreign Ministry sent a letter to the UN in which it complained of the "aggressive act" by Israel and demanded the attack does not recur.
