Lapid: 'Left mistaken in exclusively blaming Israel for peace talk failure'
Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid said at a diplomatic conference in Jerusalem that "it's no secret that the prime minister and I had disagreements. One of the more important was on the conflict. I still can't imagine what his plan is for our future security, and unfortunately I'm not alone."
Regarding a future peace process, Lapid said that "the left is mistaken when it blames Israel exclusively for the failure of negotiations, and in its naïve belief that peace is possible if we just say yes to the Palestinians. The right, on the other hand, is mistaken its belief that no agreement would be acceptable."
