Abbas: 'I support Egypt's measures against Hamas'
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said in an interview to the Egyptian press agency that he supports steps taken by Egypt against Hamas.
"If there is evidence that Hamas operatives are involved in terrorist activities against Egypt, then it has the right to pursue and punish them. We support all the measures, including blocking the tunnels to prevent the transfer of weapons from the Sinai into the Gaza Strip," said Abbas.
