Official: Afghan insurgents kill 2 US troops
An international military official has told The Associated Press that an insurgent attack on a convoy in eastern Afghanistan has killed two US troops.
The official says the attack happened by the Bagram air base in Parwan province near the capital, Kabul, late Friday. The official spoke on condition of anonymity as the information wasn't authorized for release.
