Ya'alon visits Central Command, says Hamas trying to create terror infrastructure in West Bank
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon paid a visit to the IDF Central Command on Sunday and said, "The command performs important and impressive preventative actions with cooperation by the Shin Bet, and it must continue this way because the struggle against terror is an ongoing pursuit that could yield surprises."
"The Palestinians prefer to take opposing unilateral steps in international institutions in order to harm Israel's legitimacy, but the harsh incitement in social networks, mainstream media and by the head of the Palestinian Authority brings about a string of events and individual attacks," Ya'alon said.
Ya'alon also said that there was pressure from Hamas in Istanbul to carry out attacks in the West Bank. The defense minister said that Hamas is trying "to build a terror infrastructure within the West Bank."
