Claims Conference announces increase in aid to Holocaust survivors worldwide

The Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany (Claims Conference) has announced that Jewish Holocaust survivors worldwide will receive increased aid in 2015.

By next year, the allocation to social services for Holocaust survivors will total $365 million. This amount represents a $80 million increase compared to the funds transferred last year.

The Claims Conference has been working with Holocaust survivors since 1951. It is responsible for filing claims against countries such as Germany and Austria, as well as different industries worldwide, in order to secure funds and retrieve property for survivors and their families.
