Kerry and head Palestinian negotiater Erekat hold 'difficult' meeting in London
A meeting between US Secretary of State John Kerry and the head of Palestinian negotiations Saeb Erekat in London was described as "difficult" by a Palestinian source on Tuesday. The two met to discuss the Palestinian demand to raise a proposal in the UN Security Council that would call for the end of the "Israeli occupation."
According to the Palestinian source, Kerry did not agree to refrain from using the US' ability to veto the proposal in the UN Security Council.
Kerry is scheduled to meet with a representative of the Arab League on Tuesday evening, along with the Palestinian Foreign Affairs Minister Riyad al-Maliki.
