Israeli police foil attempt to smuggle cocaine and heroine from Jordan into Israel
Israeli police foiled an attempt to smuggle 45 kilograms of cocaine, heroin and other drugs worth millions of shekels from Jordan on Tuesday.
Fighters of the Southern District's Protective Unit and Special Reconnaissance Unit began a pursuit of a suspicious vehicle and ultimately found the car flipped over and abandoned with all of the drugs still inside, with the smugglers having abandoned the scene.
