Abbas to visit Algeria to hold talks on 'Palestinian cause'
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is expected Sunday in Algiers for a state visit during which he will hold talks with his Algerian counterpart Abdelaziz Bouteflika on the "latest developments of the Palestinian cause," an official source said.
"The talks will also focus on ways to further mobilize the support of the Arab nations and the international community in general, to promote the rights of the Palestinian people in building their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital," said a press release from the Algerian presidency, quoted by APS.
Abbas will stay in Algeria until Tuesday, according to the same source.
