Jordan: Israeli-Palestinian conflict must be resolved to prevent rise of terrorism

Jordan's Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh said in a meeting with members of a committee on international and Arab issues that the US believes that the Palestinians' insistence on applying to the UN Security Council could lead to a tily towards the right in Israel's elections.
Judeh added that American officials and President Barack Obama agreed with Jordan that there is a connection between the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the rise of terror organizations such as the Islamic State. He said US Secretary of State John Kerry intends to renew efforts for negotiations.
