Abbas: If UN proposal fails we will stop all joint operations with Israel

During a visit in Algeria on Tuesday, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said that if the PA's UN Security Council proposal which seeks to set a timeline for Israeli disengagement from territory Palestinians seek for a future state does not pass – the Palestinians will begin a series of policies and legislation against Israel, according to report by the Algeria Press Service.

According to the Algerian report, Abbas added that if the UN proposal fails, the Palestinians will "stop all joint operations with Israel and demand that Israel be held responsible because it is an occupying country."
